APDCL (Assam Power Distribution Company Limited) has released an official notification that requests its consumers to update mobile numbers on APDCL official website www.apdcl.org. It also warns Consumers that for those who fail to register their mobile phone no within 15th July 2021, the electricity connection will be barred temporarily. APDCL is currently providing power services in Assam.

Ways to Linking Mobile Number with APDCL
There are two ways through which you can link your mobile numbers to the APDCL website. These are :
- Through the APDCL website. In APDCL website, individual consumer needs to update the following personal details.
- By visiting the respective electrical sub-division(ESD) office.
On the APDCL website, all consumers need to update the following personal details:
- Name
- Consumer No.
- Mobile No.
- Aadhaar No. (if available)
- Email ID (if available)
- Occupation

Step 1: Visit APDCL Site
Step 2: A new page will be opened. Enter the “Consumer No” and click on the “arrow” button to proceed ahead.
Step 3: Enter all the personal details like Mobile No. (mandatory), Occupation (mandatory), Email ID (optional) and Aadhaar No. (Optional). And click on Submit button.
Step 4: An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify.
You are done! Your mobile number and personal details are updated on the APDCL website.
